Copy of the Tourist Passport for Bhutan Visa

In-order to avoid unnecessary hassles and delays due to mismatch of information on the tourists visas approved and the actual passport the tourists are travelling with, from 1st June 2009 Department of Immigration would like to inform all tour operators to submit a copy of the passport for the tourist along with the visa application form.

Further, section 72 of the Immigration Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan requires a passport to be valid for a minimum of six months beyond the intended date of departure from the Kingdom. You are kindly requested to cross check the validity of the passports before applying.
